Daily training can get so boring. I can't believe how much
fun KJ's bring to my workout sessions. They also save a lot of
time due to the increase in aerobic and cardiovascular activity.
I save wear and tear on my joints and back as well."
Brian
Lang, a Tri-athlete cross-training with KJs.

Do you know the difference?
Conventional joggers move horizontally, with hardly any elevation. Kangoo-Joggers could do the same and only take the advantage of the reduced impact. Doing so they however deprive themselves of the joy of rebounding and of all the 33 great benefits associated with rebound exercise.
So the major difference is the elevation which can be represented a per below graphics:
Conventional jogging:
Impact - shorter strokes - almost no elevation.
Kangoo-Jogging:
negligible impact - longer strokes - elevations and more Fun

Dr, David B. Love of Santa Cruz Chiropractic & Sports Medicine Clinic in Capitola, California quotes:
Spinal exercise has always been the cornerstone of chiropractic-based rehabilitation programs. Within the exercise regimen, the benefits of rehab should include spinal strengthening, optimum postural positioning of the spinal curves, balance, coordination, flexibility, and intervertebral disc health through spinal pumping, or imbibition, with the minimal possible impact shock. While no single exercise provides all of the needed benefits necessary to maintain a healthy spine, there is a new and exciting application of an exercise system that provides most of the essential elements necessary to develop and maintain a healthy functional spine - Kangoo Jumps, Rebound Exercise Shoes.

THE ADVICE CORNER
T-Spring replacement:
Replace your T-Springs regularly, to get the best rebound effect. That's the only component that needs regular replacement.
How often should they get replaced? All depends on your standards of expectations. There's a good comparison with tennis players: top tennis players change their balls after every match, others use them till they hardly rebound. In any event we recommend to replace the T-Springs at least after about 60 hours of use.
More specifically, some runners replace their jogging shoes every 250 miles, while others at the 500 mile mark. The T-Springs are replaced, just like your running shoes are, but at a fraction of the cost.
Save your joints,
and save your Running shoes too!

"When My wife Alicia Lund told me about the Kangoo Jumps I thought that may be she would get a pair but not me. When I tried the boots on and walked with them for a few minutes I was convinced. I bought 2 pairs, one for my wife and one for me. The main reason
I bought them was because in October 2000 I had Spinal surgery, I had Lumbar Decompression and Discectomy for a Herniated Nucleus Pulposus with Spinal Stenosis (In normal terms a Herniated disc L-4 & L-5).
Even now after all this time, when I walk because of the impact on the pavement my lower back hurts after about 20 minutes of walking. Since I bought the kangoo Jumps, my wife and I go out walking and even jogging with the boots on and it has not bothered my back at all. In fact my wife timed our jogging run yesterday 5/7/03, and we both ran for 25 minutes.
I could not believe it, my back did not bother me at all."
